Joe Manganiello’s new memoirBloodlines, released October 8, is packed with personal revelations that have the internet buzzing. The actor opens up about a seven-year health battle that ended with emergency surgery to remove his large intestine, leaving him with an ostomy bag. He credits ex-wife Sofia Vergara with making the call that saved his life, but he also writes that their marriage became“devoid of emotionality”during that time and claims she refused to hug him when he needed support.

The memoir goes even further with claims that a shaman told Manganiello someone placed a voodoo curse on him over Vergara, and he speculates that Tom Cruise may have blocked his casting as Jack Reacher. Vergara reshared a quote about narcissists on the same day the book was released, and Manganiello addressed the tension onCBS Mornings, saying,“I think anybody who said that should read the book first and understand what the book is actually about because it’s not about that. It’s about the suffering that I went through.”

So here’s the question we want to know: when a celebrity writes a memoir, where’s the line between sharing your truth and airing out your ex? Drop your take in the comments.
