Greta Gerwig’s“Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew”just unveiled its first trailer, and the soundtrack choice is the real headline.“Stairway To Heaven”by Led Zeppelin carries the whole thing, a song that almost never gets cleared for film use. Gerwig met with Robert Plant and Jimmy Page in person to secure it, and she compared the track’s themes of spiritual discovery to the journey at the heart of C.S. Lewis’1955 novel.

The film marks the first-ever adaptation of“The Magician’s Nephew,”the prequel that explains how Narnia came to be. The cast includes Emma Mackey as The White Witch, Daniel Craig as The Magician, and Meryl Streep as the voice of Aslan.

“The Magician’s Nephew”opens in cinemas on February 12, 2027, before arriving on Netflix on April 2. So which rock classic would you pair with your favorite fantasy franchise? Tell us in the comments.
