Robert Kelker-Kelly, best known for playing Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives from 1992 to 1995, died October 3rd at his home in Missouri at the age of 62. According to a police report obtained by Page Six, his wife, Allison Kelly, picked him up from Spirit Airport around 7:30 p.m., and on the drive home he complained of chest, neck and left arm pain. She suggested taking him to the hospital, but he declined and said he would lie down once they got home.
When they arrived, he asked her to get him an aspirin. She went to the kitchen and returned to find him unresponsive and not breathing. She called 911 and began CPR, but paramedics pronounced him dead at 9:09 p.m. The St. Charles County Medical Examiner’s Office determined no further investigation was needed, and police classified the death as a sudden death with no suspicious circumstances. No official cause of death has been released.
Before leaving Hollywood, Kelker-Kelly also appeared on Another World and General Hospital, then built a second career in aviation. He is survived by his daughter, Amelia Rose Kelly. His story is a reminder that cardiac symptoms can escalate within minutes, and that declining medical help is a risk no one should take.
