Marvel fans got a gift this week.“VisionQuest”was scheduled to premiere Oct. 14, but Disney+ moved the launch up a day, so the first two episodes arrive tonight, Oct. 13, at 9 p.m. ET. After that, it’s one new episode a week through Nov. 10, giving the final chapter of the“WandaVision”trilogy a proper sendoff.
Paul Bettany returns as Vision, and James Spader is back as Ultron, marking the first time the two characters have shared the screen since“Age of Ultron.”The cast also includes Ruaridh Mollica as Tommy Maximoff, Todd Stashwick as Paladin, and T’Nia Miller as Jocasta. The story picks up after Vision’s memories were restored, leaving him unable to emotionally connect to his past while embedded AI personas complicate everything. When a bounty is placed on him, he goes on the run with a mysterious teenager who may be his reincarnated son.
If tonight is the push you needed to subscribe, Disney+ starts at $12.49 a month with ads, or $21.49 a month without. Between the early drop and the Star Wars and Marvel back catalog, it’s an easy sell for a fall binge. So, are you watching tonight or waiting until you can binge the whole season in one sitting?
