Oklahoma City’s Will Rogers International Airport is getting a new nonstop route, and it heads straight to the Bay Area. United Airlines will launch year-round service to San Francisco beginning March 28, 2027. Tickets went on sale with the announcement, so travelers can lock in spring and summer plans now.
The addition brings the airport’s total nonstop destinations to 29. United already connects OKC directly to Denver, Houston and Chicago, and San Francisco gives travelers a West Coast option plus a major international gateway. From there, United’s network opens up routes across the Pacific and around the world.
For Lawton-area travelers, Will Rogers is already a familiar starting point for everything from quick business trips to family vacations. Airport and city officials say the route links OKC to the center of the tech economy and cuts travel time for both business and leisure flyers. If San Francisco has been on your list, early booking usually pays off.
Are you planning to book one of the first flights, or would you rather wait and see how the schedule settles? Let us know.
