Lawton’s Halloween season gets an early start this year. Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park opens Friday, Oct. 2, and runs for 13 nights of scares, giving thrill-seekers plenty of chances to make the trip.
The biggest addition for 2026 is Section 13, a new black-lit attraction built around a virus outbreak theme. Visitors navigate darkened corridors filled with mutated creatures, and the black-light design makes every turn feel disorienting in the best way. Meanwhile, the Hackensaw Haunted Hay Ride returns for its final year, so longtime fans will want to book a night before it’s gone for good. Twisty’s Haunted Midway is also expanding with GellyBall, axe throwing, and a severed head toss.
Tickets are available at three levels: $15 for a single attraction, $25 for the HauntPass double attraction, and $65 for the Scream Pass. A new $10 VIP upgrade adds Nightmare Cantina access, a Fast Pass, and 25% off food, which is worth considering if you plan to eat on-site. With 13 nights on the calendar, there’s flexibility for families, friend groups, and Fort Sill folks looking for a night out.
