Taylor Swift’s“Patient Zero”is officially a three-peat. The song just spent its third consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and that extends her career total to 52 weeks at the top. Only four artists in the chart’s 68-year history have logged more, with Mariah Carey leading at 101 weeks.

The track from the Sept. 25 deluxe edition of“The Life of a Showgirl”got a serious push this week: 12.8 million streams, 28.2 million radio impressions, 27,000 downloads and 151,000 physical copies sold, helped along by acoustic and piano versions and a 7-inch vinyl release. Then there’s Dominic Fike, whose 2018 song“Babydoll”jumped 13-10 for his first-ever Hot 100 top 10, riding radio and TikTok momentum right before his new album“How To Quit Smoking”lands Oct. 30.

Elsewhere on the chart, Ella Langley’s“Choosin’Texas”holds at No. 2 after a record 24 weeks at No. 1, and Olivia Rodrigo’s“Stupid Song”sits at No. 8. Which chart story are you rooting for the most this week?
