Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, died Sunday of a suspected overdose at a Los Angeles rehab facility, according to his family. Months earlier, in a since-deleted Instagram post from December 1, 2025, Presley got startlingly specific about what he was taking: Valium, buprenorphine, and Xanax, all at once, to manage mental health and substance use.

In that same post, he described cycling through roughly 15 psychiatrists over the years, each one prescribing multiple medications without much guidance. He said he’d cut back heavily on drinking, distanced himself from old Hollywood influences, and explored ibogaine, a West African root bark psychoactive, as a treatment for opioid addiction. His sister, model Kaia Gerber, has praised how openly he discussed his addiction.

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber confirmed the death and asked for privacy.
