LISA is keeping her solo era in full swing. The BLACKPINK star announced on Wednesday, Oct. 14 that her new single“Tarantino”arrives Oct. 23, serving as the second single from her upcoming“Press Play”EP. The title is a direct nod to filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, and the artwork leans into the drama with LISA hiding behind a red envelope.
The teaser she shared on TikTok has fans buzzing. Over pounding percussion, she sings about long nails and lipstick all over your face. If that sounds cinematic, that’s the point. The track follows“SaWaDiKa,”which debuted at No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 23 on the Billboard Global 200, while her debut solo album“Alter Ego”peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 in 2025.
It’s been a massive stretch for LISA beyond music, too. Her documentary“Always Lalisa”premiered at TIFF and hit theaters worldwide on Oct. 12, she won best pop at the 2026 VMAs, and her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace begins Nov. 12 with two newly added dates.
