Lana Del Rey returned to the stage for the first time in nearly a year, headlining the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, and she used the moment to give fans something brand new. The setlist was a career-spanning ride through“Young and Beautiful,”“Video Games,”and“Summertime Sadness,”but the standout was the live debut of“White Feather Hawk Tail Deer Hunter,”the third track shared from her upcoming album“Stove.”
“Stove”has been a long time coming. It was first announced as“Lasso”in 2024, later renamed“The Right Person Will Stay,”and now it’s landed on“Stove”with no official release date in sight. Lana has also teased an untitled companion album, so there’s clearly a lot of music waiting in the wings. Between songs in Singapore, she opened up about the long wait, reflecting on patience, old friends, and new dreams.
The stage design stayed true to her aesthetic, complete with a small house, a porch, backing dancers, and a swing. If the live debut is any indication,“Stove”is shaping up to be worth the wait, even if we still don’t know when we’ll actually hear it.
What song are you most hoping makes the final tracklist on“Stove”?
