Kristina Khorram Wins Big: Judge Tosses Sex Trafficking Claims

In a significant courtroom victory, Kristina Khorram, the longtime executive assistant to Diddy, has successfully had major allegations against her dismissed. A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ruled in June that the sexual battery, sex trafficking, and related claims brought by Phillip Pines—a former Diddy employee—did not have sufficient legal foundation to proceed.

The decision hinged on a critical legal standard: Pines failed to present evidence demonstrating that Khorram had knowledge of, benefited from, or was complicit in any alleged crimes. Without establishing her culpability or involvement, the judge had no choice but to throw out the case against her. Khorram has consistently maintained her innocence throughout the legal proceedings.

Pines, who worked for Diddy from 2019 to 2021, had alleged in his lawsuit that he was tasked with setting up hotel rooms stocked with baby oil, sex toys, and other items—work he claimed was connected to what the suit described as Diddy’s“freak-offs.”He named both Diddy and Khorram as defendants. Khorram had been characterized by another accuser as a“Ghislaine Maxwell”figure, a comparison that added significant weight to the allegations against her.

The dismissal represents a win for Khorram’s legal defense, though it’s worth noting that the ruling applies only to her portion of the case. Diddy himself continues to face the remaining allegations from Pines’suit. A representative for Diddy has denied all claims, stating that the music mogul“has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor,”and expressed confidence that he will ultimately prevail in court as well.

The case underscores the legal distinction between proximity to alleged wrongdoing and actual participation in it. Even those in close orbit to a defendant can’t be held liable without concrete evidence of their own involvement.
