KJ Biermann Asks Georgia Judge to Reconsider Sealed Ruling in Felony Case

KJ Biermann’s legal team was back in a Georgia courtroom on October 14, filing a motion asking a judge to reconsider a sealed order issued October 5 in his sexual battery and sodomy case. His attorneys also requested a certificate of immediate review so the ruling can be challenged sooner rather than later. KJ, the 15-year-old son of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, was not required to attend the hearing.

He has pleaded not guilty to all seven felony charges, which include aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, and false imprisonment. The allegations stem from an April incident at an Alpharetta fitness center involving a female classmate. He was arrested on August 17 and released in September on a $200,000 bond under strict conditions: confinement to his mother’s home, virtual schooling, and no access to a phone or social media. Authorities have also stated that no male DNA was found in the accuser’s mouth or vagina.

His attorney, Jason Sheffield, has called the situation reckless and deeply troubling while maintaining his client’s innocence. Because this involves a minor and two well-known parents, every filing becomes national news, but the case itself is far from decided. The next court date is the one to watch.
