Rockstar Games has confirmed that French electronic duo Justice composed the original soundtrack for Grand Theft Auto 6, and the official launch trailer arrived on October 15 to prove it. The 90-second clip follows co-protagonists Lucia and Jason through Vice City and the state of Leonida, scored by Justice’s new single“Flower In A Hurricane”featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard&The Lizard Wizard. It is a genuinely wild combination of artists, and it sets the tone for everything else Rockstar has revealed.
“Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album”is a 34-track collection of original music written for the game, with nine songs revealed so far. The contributor list runs from Travis Scott and Cardi B to Morgan Wallen and Keith Richards, plus Yung Lean and more. Six in-game radio stations are also confirmed, hosted by names like Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, Robyn, and Slayer’s Kerry King and Tom Araya. For the first time in series history, radio and podcasts can be listened to on foot through headphones and earbuds connected to an in-game smartphone.
GTA 6 launches November 19, and the soundtrack is already shaping up to be one of the biggest music moments of the year, spanning electronic, hip-hop, country, Latin and rock all at once. Which artist on that album are you most hyped to hear?
