Jodie Sweetin is opening up about a night from her childhood that sounds almost impossible. At a’90s Con panel on October 18, she recalled sitting in a car with her Full House dad Bob Saget outside a Janet Jackson concert in the late’80s or early’90s when a drive-by shooting broke out. Sweetin said she leaned over to tie her shoes, heard“pop, pop, pop,”and the window shattered right where she’d just been sitting.
After the chaos, she and Saget ran off and waited for station wagon taxis before he drove her home and explained the whole thing to her mother. It’s the kind of protective move fans always associated with Danny Tanner on TV, and it turns out Saget brought that energy off screen too.
Sweetin also honored Saget during the panel, saying he would be glad the cast is still talking about him.
