Holland Taylor Reveals Why She and Sarah Paulson Will Never Act Together

Holland Taylor and Sarah Paulson have been one of Hollywood’s most intriguing couples for over a decade, and now we know one thing they will definitely never do together: share a screen. Appearing on SiriusXM’s Bevelations with Bevy Smith, Taylor said the idea of acting alongside her partner is, in her words,“very, very weird.”

Her reasoning is surprisingly practical. Taylor explained that audiences would be so focused on the fact that they’re a real couple that they’d stop following the story, wondering why these two are together instead of investing in the characters.“I don’t like seeing couples doing things because I’m always aware of the coupledom,”she said. Fair point, considering the pair have built a life that already breaks every traditional rule.

The couple, together eleven years after connecting on social media in 2015, live in separate homes and have both said they have no interest in marrying. With a 32-year age gap, they’ve long been open about doing things their own way, and Taylor’s comments only reinforce that their partnership thrives precisely because they keep certain parts of their lives apart.
