Halle Berry's Fiancé Van Hunt Has Been Her "Rock" During Custody Battle With Olivier Martinez

Halle Berry’s custody battle with ex-husband Olivier Martinez is still making headlines, and a new report says her fiancé Van Hunt has been her“rock”through it all. A source told Page Six that Hunt has been“incredibly supportive through everything,”calling him a calming presence during an“incredibly difficult and stressful time.”

The legal update: a judge denied Martinez’s request for a permanent domestic violence restraining order against Berry on October 29, though Martinez retained primary physical custody of their son Maceo. Berry’s parenting time remains limited to daytime visits without overnights. Martinez accused Berry of choking their son during an alleged altercation on September 26, and Berry has denied the allegations. Hunt testified in support of Berry during closed-door proceedings in Los Angeles Superior Court last month.
