Amber Siyavus, who competed on“Big Brother”season 8 in 2007, has died at 46. According to Clark County coroner records in Nevada, she passed away on Friday, October 9, and her cause of death is currently listed as pending. Fans of the show will remember Siyavus as the cocktail waitress from Las Vegas who entered the house as a relative unknown and made it all the way to week eight before being evicted as the third member of the jury.

Her exit from the game was memorable for how confident she stayed on the way out.“I think I was evicted because, honestly, nobody wants to be sitting next to me in the final two,”she said. That season also featured“Evil Dick”Donato, who went on to win, along with houseguests Jameka Cameron and Dustin Erikstrup, with Julie Chen Moonves hosting.

Outside the house, Siyavus went through a devastating family tragedy. In 2018, her 18-year-old daughter, Lexi Tomcavage, died in Ohio. For fans who grew up on season 8, the news of her passing carries that heavier context. If you were a viewer back then, what do you remember most about her time in the house? Let us know in the comments.
