Clare Crawley Says She "Literally Almost Died" Last December: Inside Her Health Battle

Clare Crawley is opening up about the scariest chapter of her life. On the“She’s All Bach”podcast, the former Bachelorette revealed that last December she“literally almost died,”losing 20 pounds she couldn’t afford to lose. It’s the latest development in a health battle she’s been documenting since 2025, including Topical Steroid Withdrawal, breast explant surgery, and losing roughly 90 percent of her hair twice.

The 45-year-old also says doctors delayed her healing with wrong diagnoses and treatments, all while she was grieving her mother’s death. Through it all, she leaned on her husband Ryan Dawkins and their daughter Rowen, saying she was determined to heal“for myself but for my daughter and for my husband.”

Today, Crawley says she’s recovered, with her hair regrown and her skin healthy, and she’s grateful for the small things most people overlook.
