Brandi Glanville Says She's "Embarrassed" After Friend Launches GoFundMe for Her $7K-a-Week Medical Bills

Brandi Glanville is opening up about a health battle that’s drained her bank account and her pride. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum broke down on her“Unfiltered”podcast this week while discussing a GoFundMe her friend Gina launched to help cover her medical bills. The reason: her medication costs $7,000 a week, even with insurance.

Glanville has been fighting a mysterious condition for more than two years, one that has affected her facial appearance and left her unable to work. She says she’s spent over $113,000 on treatments with mixed results. On Instagram, she’s shared a long list of diagnoses, including highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis and Mononucleosis. Her podcast cohost James Maas has publicly defended the fundraiser, saying it’s genuinely necessary.

With more than two years of medical ups and downs, the emotional toll may be the heaviest part.“I feel like a loser. I feel like I definitely hit rock bottom, and I’m embarrassed,”Glanville told listeners. It’s a feeling plenty of people know, whether or not their name has ever been on a reality show.
