The Focker family just got a major new member. New promotional posters forFocker-In-Lawdropped Monday, giving fans their first real look at Ariana Grande as Olivia Jones, a former FBI hostage negotiator who happens to be dating Henry Focker. One poster shows Olivia in a tense stare-down with Robert De Niro’s Jack Byrnes, while another has her and Henry getting close as Ben Stiller’s Greg Focker watches with obvious suspicion.
The whole original crew is back: De Niro, Stiller, Teri Polo and Blythe Danner, joined by newcomers Skyler Gisondo, Beanie Feldstein and Eduardo Franco. John Hamburg directs, and he cowrote the first three films, so the franchise is in familiar hands. Plot-wise, Henry is planning to propose, Greg isn’t convinced, and Jack has his own unique approach to vetting Olivia.
This marks Ariana Grande’s first appearance in the franchise and her return to promoting a project after stepping away from the public eye.Focker-In-Lawhits theaters November 25, timed perfectly for Thanksgiving.
