Anadarko Man Wanted for Throwing Object at Wife's Car Over Phone Location Dispute

A Caddo County man is on the run after an argument over a phone app escalated into a violent outburst. Anthony LeMart Charcoal, 47, is wanted for throwing an object through his wife’s car window at a car wash in Anadarko around 10 p.m. on July 13. The dispute reportedly started over the wife’s phone location services not showing her correct location. Police say Charcoal shattered the Jeep’s right passenger window as his wife was leaving.

Charcoal faces a felony charge of throwing or dropping an object on a motor vehicle, which carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. A felony arrest warrant was issued on Aug. 25. This is not Charcoal’s first encounter with the law. He has prior felony convictions in both Caddo and Comanche counties, including burglary, drug possession, and aggravated assault. Officer Xavier Tartash with the Anadarko police department is investigating the case.
