Only one comedy category escaped Widow’s Bay’s grip: Lead Actress. Jean Smart took that one home for Hacks, making her the sole spoiler on an otherwise flawless night for the show. Meanwhile, Mariska Hargitay hosted the 78th annual ceremony for the first time, live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
