After her companion, a ringneck parrot named Sky, passed away due to an untreated infection, Ollu refused to leave his side. Owner Mariyam Jazeela filmed the heart-wrenching moment, showcasing the profound bond these two birds had developed over the past year.

Although Jazeela was left heartbroken by Sky’s unexpected death, she has noticed Ollu beginning to bond with another bird in their home in Maafushi.
