Brandon Flowers had a surprise for the crowd at Red Butte Garden in Salt Lake City. The Killers frontman told the audience his 15-year-old son Henry loves Oasis, then brought him out to play“Don’t Look Back In Anger”on acoustic guitar. The show fell on the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, which gave a song about pushing forward an extra layer of weight.

Flowers is out on his first solo tour since 2015, supporting the new album“Thrasher.”The set also featured Killers staples“Mr Brightside”and“Read My Mind.”He told the crowd that a new Killers record isn’t finished yet, but that his bandmates have been coming to Salt Lake City to write and get demos going with producers Ariel Rechtshaid and Shawn Rado.

Next up is Denver, then a run of UK and Ireland dates this autumn, including London’s Royal Albert Hall on October 15. On top of all that, Oasis just teased a Slane Castle concert ahead of an expected 2027 tour announcement. Which one are you buying tickets for first?
