Saturday Night Live UK has locked in its next wave of talent, and it’s a proper mixed bag in the best way. Danny Dyer, James Norton and Cynthia Erivo will host across the next three episodes, while Sasha Keable, The Streets and Blossoms handle musical duties. Dyer arrives fresh off his BAFTA win for Mr Bigstuff, Erivo brings three Oscar nominations and Wicked-sized star power, and Norton rounds it out with McVafia, House Of Guinness and Happy Valley on his CV.
The music lineup carries its own weight. Blossoms release their sixth album, Songs From The Wedding Cake, this Friday, making their SNL UK slot a perfect victory lap. The Streets returning to a big TV stage is a nostalgia hit for anyone who wore out A Grand Don’t Come For Free, and Sasha Keable, an NME 100 artist, gets a massive platform.
There’s one catch for fans: after these three episodes, the show takes a mid-season break and won’t return until 2027. The UK edition launched earlier this spring with hosts including Jeff Goldblum, Jamie Demetriou and Amelia Dimoldenberg, plus performances from CMAT, Royal Blood and Rachel Chinouriri.
