Sharon Osbourne is opening up about the final night she spent with Ozzy, and the details are devastating in the most tender way. In a new interview with the BBC, she shared that Ozzy woke her in the middle of the night, asked her for two kisses, and said,“Hold me, hold me tight.”She held him. The next morning, she was asleep when someone rushed in to wake her. Ozzy died at 76 at the family home in Buckinghamshire in July 2025.

More than a year later, Sharon says the grief is still overwhelming, and she visits his grave every single day. Ozzy isn’t buried in a public cemetery. He’s in the family’s garden, a decision Sharon made so he could rest in peace away from public gravesites. His death certificate listed cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease. Just weeks before his passing, he performed his final Black Sabbath concert in Birmingham on July 5, 2025.

Sharon summed it up in a way anyone who’s lost someone will recognize:“You never get over it. But you learn to live with it.”It’s a rare, raw look at love and loss from a couple the world watched for decades. What’s the last thing someone you loved said to you that you’ll never forget?
