New York packed a full week of star power into seven days. Shaquille O’Neal launched tm:rw Studios with a 22,000-square-foot flagship in Times Square last Tuesday, then turned the celebration into a livestreamed basketball shooting competition with guests. Because of course he did.

Over at Alice Tully Hall, Andrew Garfield joined Billie Lourd, Damon Albarn and Jason Schwartzman for the New York Film Festival premiere of Luca Guadagnino’s“Artificial.”Robert Kraft and Dana Blumberg spent their afternoon at the ASPCA Humane Awards Luncheon at The Plaza, while Spy Magazine celebrated its 40th anniversary at the Waverly Inn with hosts Kurt Andersen, Graydon Carter and Tom Phillips.

Carnegie Hall closed out the week’s big moments by opening its 136th season with Jonas Kaufmann and the Berliner Philharmoniker, raising nearly $5 million in the process. Sports, film, philanthropy and a magazine reunion, all in one city, one week.

Which of these would you have wanted a front-row seat for?
