Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have been friends for over a quarter century, and they just made it Instagram official in the best way. Gomez shared photos Thursday from a Rare Beauty blush collaboration, pairing new campaign images with throwback shots of the two from their earliest days together. In her caption, Gomez reflected on meeting Lovato as children on Barney&Friends and on the“over 25 years of ups and downs in life and friendship and growth”that followed.

The collab’s look draws from their 2009 Disney film Princess Protection Program, which means the tiara energy is fully intact. Fans also got something even better than product shots: their first BFF vlog in roughly 18 years, complete with the return of the“Yo, yo!”opening and a fan Q&A in full princess attire. Both singers have plenty to celebrate this year, too, with Gomez’s I Said I Love You First reaching No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and Lovato’s It’s Not That Deep debuting at No. 9.

Child-star friendships don’t usually survive this long, especially in public, which makes this reunion land a little harder for anyone who grew up watching them. The blush is nice, but the caption might be the real keepsake. Which part of the campaign are you most excited to see?
