Keke Palmer and Son Leo Nailed Halloween as Michael and Janet Jackson's "Scream"

Keke Palmer just delivered the Halloween moment of the year. The actress and entertainer dressed as Janet Jackson while her 3-year-old son Leo went as Michael Jackson, and together they recreated the iconic 1995“Scream”music video. The black-and-white styling, futuristic outfits, and dramatic hairstyles were all there. Palmer shared the photos along with a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram on Oct. 28.

The behind-the-scenes clip is where things get really good. In it, Leo sits with an iPad while Palmer performs the choreography, a scene every parent will recognize. She captioned the post“Happy Halloween from me&&my mini me!”and wrote“My SCREAM come true.”The“Scream”video, directed by Mark Romanek, remains one of the most famous collaborations in pop music history.

This isn’t a new tradition for Palmer either. She has gone all out for Halloween with Leo every year since his birth in February 2023, with past costumes including Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein, Cersei and Joffrey Lannister from Game of Thrones, and Snoop Dogg and Bow Wow.
