Roseanne Barr is saying goodbye to a piece of California real estate, just days after telling the internet she already said goodbye to the state itself. The comedian listed her West Hills vacation home near Calabasas for $1.37 million, according to the New York Post. She bought the three-bedroom, two-bath 1964 ranch house for $1.3 million in 2021, back when it served as her weekend escape with canyon views and a pool.

The timing raised eyebrows. On November 2, Barr posted on X that she“already fled California because democrats are the worst,”while urging followers to vote for Ken Paxton in his Senate race. Paxton ended up losing to Democrat James Talarico. Barr moved to a 30-acre property in Texas Hill Country outside Austin about three years ago, and her broker says she’s selling the West Hills home simply because she doesn’t use it anymore.

Except there’s a plot twist. Her broker confirmed she still owns several other properties in California. So the California exit is a work in progress. Barr, 74, is also prepping a family comedy comeback, which means the real estate news may just be the opening act.
