The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Tillman County Sheriff’s Department with a death investigation southwest of Chattanooga. According to OSBI information officer Hunter McKee, the sheriff’s department requested state assistance before 7 a.m. Friday, and authorities found an adult male deceased at 24014 County Road EW1800 with injuries consistent with a homicide.

Family members told The Lawton Constitution the man is Jeff Ochsner. McKee declined to confirm the identity, noting the notification process is still underway. He said persons of interest are being interviewed, and no arrests had been made as of 2:30 p.m. Friday.“We’re working through the process and will make notification when an arrest is made,”McKee said.

This is an active investigation, and details will be released as they are confirmed. Anyone with information that could assist investigators is encouraged to contact the Tillman County Sheriff’s Department. What questions do you have about how cases like this move forward?
