An Oasis show is usually about the Gallagher brothers, but one photographer flipped the script. Manchester’s Joshua Halling was shooting Oasis’November 2025 shows at River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires when he aimed his camera at a single fan in the mosh pit instead of the stage. That image, one fan in an Oasis T-shirt surrounded by swirling crowd chaos, is now one of five finalists for Music Moment of the Year at the Abbey Road Music Photography Awards.
The competition was fierce: more than 24,500 submissions poured in from 42 countries. Halling’s shot came from Oasis’two sold-out Buenos Aires nights on November 15 and 16, 2025, their first Argentina shows in 16 years. Noel once described Buenos Aires crowds as“completely crazy,”and the photo makes that case pretty convincingly. Winners will be announced on September 24.
There’s more Oasis news on the horizon too. Noel has seemingly confirmed a summer 2027 tour, hinting at another possible South American run. Which means more stadiums, more wild crowds, and maybe more iconic fan photos waiting to happen.
