Tribal leaders, financial professionals, and legal experts from across the country will gather in Tulsa October 5-7 for the Native Finance Summit at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The event, promoted by the Native American Financial Services Association, pairs three days of sessions with a two-day trade show.\n\nThe agenda centers on the technologies reshaping finance right now: AI in financial services, fintech operating within Tribal jurisdictions, decentralized finance, modern payments, and governance and compliance in Tribal lending. NAFSA Executive Director Gary Davis says the summit is designed to broaden the conversation beyond Tribal lending into sovereign finance and opportunities aligned with self-determined futures. Other sessions will explore asset innovation, converting energy resources into wealth, and the future of Tribal online lending.\n\nFor Lawton, the summit is a close-to-home look at where Indian Country’s economy is heading. Comanche Nation and the Tribes surrounding Fort Sill are part of these national discussions, and the strategies shared in Tulsa could shape economic development across our region. Registration is available by phone at (202) 753-0300, and sponsorship details are available through sponsorship@nativefinance.org. What would you like to see Tribal economic development bring to southwest Oklahoma?
