Mossimo Giannulli's Divorce Response Skips the Prenup, and That's Raising Eyebrows

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are officially divorcing after 28 years of marriage, and the court filings are already giving us something to talk about. Loughlin filed her petition first, requesting that their assets and debts be split according to the prenuptial agreement they signed one month before their November 1997 wedding. Pretty straightforward, as far as high-profile divorces go.

Then Giannulli filed his response on Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court. He cited“irreconcilable differences,”the same as Loughlin, but he didn’t mention the prenup at all. Instead, he asked the court to determine whether spousal support should be payable to either party. He also left the“date of separation”field blank, while Loughlin listed August 31, 2025. Those small differences in a legal filing can carry real weight.

Neither side has commented publicly on what the prenup omission means, and it’s possible it’s nothing more than a procedural difference. But given the couple’s long and very public history, including the college admissions scandal, this divorce is going to get attention either way.

What do you think — should the prenup settle everything, or should the court decide?
