Meredith Marks is sharing a cosmetic procedure warning that a lot of people probably need to hear. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star told Page Six’s“Virtual Reali-Tea”that a thread lift she had in the past created complications when she underwent a facelift in February. According to the 54-year-old, the thread lift recovery was actually harder than the facelift recovery, bringing a splitting headache and leaving her feeling unwell. So much for the“low-key”option.

For the facelift itself, Marks says she consulted many doctors before choosing Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Garo Kassabian. She’s been similarly candid about other procedures too, including three breast reductions she had due to a medical condition. That kind of honesty about surgery and recovery is rare in reality TV, where stars often stay quiet about what they’ve had done.

Marks also addressed the repeated comments from her RHOSLC castmates about her wearing a wig on the show. Her response was short and pointed:“They should worry about their own hair.”It’s a line that fits her pattern of not letting appearance critiques slide, and fans are already calling it a classic Meredith moment.

Have you ever considered a thread lift? Does her story change your mind?
