Mario Carbone knows a thing or two about a memorable night out, and his wedding to brand strategist Cait Bailey was no exception. The couple took over The Grill and The Pool inside the Seagram Building, two of Major Food Group’s most iconic rooms, and filled them with a guest list that spanned old-school New York glamour and today’s influencer elite: Lea Michele, Ashley Benson, Ashley Graham, Shay Mitchell, Alix Earle, and Dixie D’Amelio.

The night came with no shortage of highlights. Benson Boone serenaded the couple with hits including“Beautiful Things,”Jessie Murph performed, and Sofi Tukker handled DJ duties. Shay Mitchell, who introduced the couple back in 2018, toasted them at the reception, and guests enjoyed seafood and dessert stations, plenty of pasta, and a nine-tiered wedding cake. The celebration continued at Lobster Club, where the party kept going past 1 A.M.

Carbone and Bailey got engaged on July 14, 2024, in Capri, Italy, making this the grand finale of a two-year engagement. It was a wedding that mixed the worlds of celebrity chef culture and influencer nightlife, and it set a very high bar for New York’s social calendar. Which detail would you want at your own wedding: the live performances or that nine-tiered cake?
