KJ Biermann Bond Decision: Judge Weighs Release as Alleged Victim Says She's 'Living in Fear'

A judge in Fulton County, Georgia, is now deciding whether KJ Biermann, the 15-year-old son of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, should be released on bond. During Friday’s hearing, a statement from his alleged victim was read aloud in court. In it, she said she is“living in fear”and worried about her family after receiving threats that KJ would come after her if he were released.

KJ was arrested on Aug. 17 and indicted on Sept. 3 on seven charges connected to an alleged April 23 assault at a Life Time Fitness in Alpharetta, Georgia. He remains at Atlanta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center. His attorney, Jason Sheffield, has said his client is“100% innocent,”and Zolciak has publicly called the allegations“reckless”and“deeply troubling.”During Friday’s hearing, prosecutors also revealed videos allegedly found on KJ’s phone, tied to a new allegation; his defense declined to comment on it.

The judge did not rule from the bench and said she will decide by Monday. That decision could mean KJ stays in detention or returns home under court conditions, and it will likely shape how the rest of the case moves forward.
