Sahara Ray, the Australian model and swimwear entrepreneur, died Sunday at 34 after reportedly suffering a fentanyl overdose on Friday. No official cause of death has been released. Now, TMZ has published details from the birth certificate of her infant daughter, Snow Ray Dow, listing Michael Bradley Dow, 38, as the father. Sahara had never publicly named Snow’s father before her death.

Snow was born January 27 at a Los Angeles hospital. Sahara introduced her daughter on social media in April and posted photos of Snow as recently as July. Her mother, Gretchen Bach, remembered her as an incredibly passionate and kind young woman who loved her family, fashion, her daughter Snow, and surfing. Sahara had also spoken about her health struggles with Guillain-Barré syndrome following a car accident.

For pop culture fans, Sahara first made headlines during her 2016 link to Justin Bieber, but the story now centers on a baby who lost her mom far too soon. The family made the decision to remove her from life support Sunday, and they’ve asked for privacy during an impossibly difficult time.

What do you think about the paternity news becoming public this way? Sound off in the comments.
