Kimmarie Johnson, the model and actress whose career ran from the Miss USA stage to“Beverly Hills, 90210”and“Dude, Where’s My Car?”, died Wednesday, November 4, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. She was 50. Her family confirmed the cause was a heart aneurysm following a cardiac emergency the previous week, and her niece Rhonda Scott shared the news.

Johnson was born April 8, 1976, in Pittsburgh, where she worked as a flight attendant before her modeling career took off. She won Miss Pennsylvania USA in 1992 and placed in the top five at Miss USA the following year, then moved to Los Angeles in the mid-1990s. Her television debut came in 1998 on“90210,”and she went on to appear in“Dude, Where’s My Car?”as one of the alien jumpsuit chicks, plus roles on“V.I.P.”and“Wanda at Large.”

After her son Cameron’s birth in 2003, Johnson scaled back acting and launched her skincare brand, SkinGlow by Kimmarie, in 2011, staying active in modeling and fashion. Her final Instagram post was August 27. She is survived by Cameron, a musician in Los Angeles, and her niece Rhonda. A heart aneurysm can strike without warning, which makes her death at 50 a reminder to take those health checkups seriously. Which of her roles do you remember most?
