Kimmarie Johnson, the actress and model who appeared on“Beverly Hills, 90210”and in“Dude, Where’s My Car?”, died Wednesday at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. She was 50. Her family confirmed to TMZ that the cause was a heart aneurysm, following a cardiac emergency the week before.

Johnson’s path to Hollywood started on the pageant stage. Born in Pittsburgh, she won Miss Pennsylvania USA in 1992 and placed in the top five at Miss USA, then moved to Los Angeles in the mid-’90s to pursue acting. She made her TV debut on“90210”in 1998 and followed it with the 2000 comedy“Dude, Where’s My Car?”alongside Ashton Kutcher. After her son Cameron was born in 2003, she scaled back her acting career and launched her own skincare line, SkinGlow by Kimmarie, in 2011. She remained active in modeling and fashion and her final acting credit came in 2017.

She is survived by her son, Cameron Nino, a musician in Los Angeles, and her niece, Rhonda Scott. As her family and fans remember her, her story is a reminder of what it looks like to reinvent yourself more than once. What’s the one TV or movie moment from that era you’ll always associate with her? Drop it in the comments.
