Kelly Osbourne is opening up about a family rift that’s been quietly there for decades. On the“We Need to Talk”podcast, the 41-year-old said of her older sister Aimee, 43, simply:“We’re not close.”She explained that Aimee never really acknowledged her or brother Jack growing up and seemed embarrassed by the family, which is why Aimee was the one Osbourne sibling who never appeared on“The Osbournes”from 2002 to 2005.

Kelly didn’t hold back on how much that shaped her, saying,“I will tell you it’s one of the hardest things of my life, that I never got a big sister.”She described a resentment she’ll carry forever, and firmly ruled out any reconciliation, calling the two polar opposites. Kelly added that she respects and accepts Aimee, but won’t accept someone who tries to change her or seems to thrive when she isn’t doing well.

The comments land at a tender time for the family, still grieving Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July 2025 at 76. Aimee made a rare public appearance at the 2026 Grammys for a tribute to their dad, which makes Kelly’s honesty about their bond feel even heavier.

Do you have a sibling you’ve never been close with? Tell us your story in the comments.
