Kayla Rae Reid Tells Ryan Lochte's Fiancée to 'Leave Me and My Children Alone'

Kayla Rae Reid isn’t staying quiet anymore. On Monday, the model and ex-wife of Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte posted an Instagram Story telling his fiancée, Molly Gillihan, to“leave me and my children alone,”publicly and privately. Reid also called the“continuous desperation for attention”overwhelmingly obvious, making it very clear this has been building for a while.

The flare-up started after Gillihan apparently discussed Lochte’s custody schedule for his three kids with Reid publicly. Reid pushed back, saying her children didn’t spend most of the summer with Lochte, and that their agreement gives him one month of the two-and-a-half-month break.“I have three actual children to raise,”she wrote. Reid and Lochte split in March 2025, their divorce was finalized in July, and Lochte went public with Gillihan and got engaged last October while still legally married to Reid. Reid has accused the pair of cheating during her marriage, which Lochte denies.
