Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Jenni“JWoww”Farley revealed on Wednesday that she’s been in the hospital dealing with a severe kidney infection and appendicitis. Sharing a photo from her hospital room, the 41-year-old mom admitted that the past week has been one of the hardest of her life. She explained that she had been feeling off for months, noticing weight loss and exhaustion, before her body finally gave out last Friday.

Despite everything, JWoww made sure her kids’first day of school was still special. Her husband Zack Carpinello arranged for their children, Meilani and Greyson, to visit her early in the morning before heading to class. In a video posted to Instagram, she can be seen doing her daughter’s hair in the hospital bathroom. Her caption read,“Our first-day picture looks a little different this year, but we have one.
