Judge Rules Woman Accused of Shooting at Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's Home Fit to Stand Trial

A Los Angeles judge ruled Tuesday that the 36-year-old woman accused of shooting at Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s Beverly Hills home is mentally fit to stand trial, putting the criminal case back in motion after months of psychiatric evaluations. Judge Maria Cavalluzzi reinstated proceedings, and the suspect is due back in court Wednesday.

Prosecutors allege the woman drove up to the couple’s home on March 8 and fired more than 20 rounds from an AR-15-style rifle out of her Tesla window before fleeing. Police arrested her roughly 30 minutes later at a Sherman Oaks shopping center. Rihanna was inside the home at the time with the couple’s three children and a nanny. No injuries were reported.

She faces 13 felony charges, including attempted murder, and could face up to life in prison if convicted. She has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody on $1.875 million bail.
