Judge Judy Sheindlin is officially ending her onscreen career. The final episode of“Judy Justice”airs October 22, closing out a television run that started back in 1996. But the courtroom isn’t going dark. Sheindlin is producing a new syndicated small-claims show called“Adam’s Law,”and it stars her son, Adam Levy, 58. It premieres September 14.
Levy isn’t a stranger to the bench. He spent years as the District Attorney of Putnam County, New York, and previously appeared on“Tribunal Justice.”Sheindlin addressed the obvious question head-on, telling People that maybe eight years ago he wasn’t ready, but he’s ready now. She also said she doesn’t want to do hair and makeup anymore, that she has a lot of other things of interest, and that she has never been this content.
