Joshua Jackson’s love life just got a whole lot more interesting. The actor was spotted hand-in-hand with model Olivia Burgess during a romantic stroll through New York City on June 7, 2026—marking their first public outing together. The pair looked relaxed and genuinely happy as they explored the city, with Jackson dressed casually in a linen button-up and Burgess keeping it cool in a black tank top and gray Bermuda shorts. It’s the kind of low-key date that suggests something real might be brewing.

The timing is significant. Jackson has had a rougher few years than most—his split from ex-wife Jodie Turner-Smith in 2023 was followed by the loss of his childhood home in the devastating 2025 California wildfires. (The couple shares a daughter, Juno Rose Diana Jackson, born in 2020.) So seeing him out and smiling feels genuinely refreshing. And interestingly, the same day he was photographed with Burgess, he walked the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival with his Dawson’s Creek costar Katie Holmes for their new film Happy Hours. Just a coincidence, or a signal that he’s in a good place?

As for Burgess, she’s no stranger to the spotlight. Born in Paris and raised in Washington D.C., she’s built an impressive career that spans runway work for Jean Paul Gaultier, Chromat, and Agent Provocateur, plus print campaigns for Bloomingdale’s and The Gap. But her résumé doesn’t stop at modeling. She’s also a trained dancer—and a seriously impressive one. She performed as a background dancer for Beyoncé’s iconic 2011 MTV Video Music Awards performance of Love on Top, the very moment the superstar cradled her stomach to announce her pregnancy with Blue Ivy Carter. Not too shabby.

Burgess got into modeling almost by accident. Her first passion was horse-riding, but a serious injury sidelined those dreams. With her mother Gloria also a model, she walked into an agency on a whim—and the Wilhelmina modeling agency signed her almost immediately. She credits her dance background with giving her an edge in the modeling world, bringing both strength and elegance to her work. In a 2017 interview, she explained the connection:“With dance you’re always trying to make everything, even the most difficult steps, look effortless…I think that I’ve also been able to bring this strength and elegance into my modeling.”

Whether this is a fling or something with real staying power, Jackson and Burgess seem genuinely comfortable together. And for an actor who’s weathered his share of storms lately, that’s worth celebrating.
