Jordan Chiles is getting the documentary treatment.“Fair Play: The Jordan Chiles Story”is officially in production, and it’s set to premiere on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in fall 2027. The film follows Chiles as she trains for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics after announcing her comeback in September 2026.
The project comes from Disney’s Andscape with Campfire Studios and Select Entertainment, and it’s directed by Trishtan Williams, who worked on Netflix’s“Starting 5.”Williams has said she wants to show audiences more of Chiles than they see during competitions. Chiles, a Tokyo silver medalist and Paris team gold medalist, has said the film lets her reflect on her journey while reclaiming her narrative. She’s also staying close to the sport as a student coach for UCLA’s 2027 season after winning four NCAA titles there.
So what’s the takeaway? Cameras following Chiles through the gym, the setbacks and the buildup to a home Olympics makes this one of the most anticipated sports documentaries on the horizon. And with Chiles controlling her own story, fans get the version she actually wants them to see.
What moment from Chiles’career do you most want to see covered in the film? Let us know in the comments.
