Jon Gosselin is opening up about the distance between him and his kids, and it’s not an easy listen. On the“Legally Goff”podcast, he said he hasn’t seen twin daughters Mady and Cara, now 26, in so long that he wouldn’t be able to pick them out on the street. He also says his last visit with Joel, Aaden, Alexis and Leah was back in 2018, and that he missed most of their graduations and proms.

Jon, who shares eight children with ex-wife Kate Gosselin after their 2009 divorce, is pointing to parental alienation. He claims he’s been cut off since the twins were 13 and says Kate told the children he didn’t want to see them. Kate has denied his accusations, and Mady and Cara have never publicly commented on the estrangement.

For fans who followed the family through years of reality TV, this chapter hits a sore spot. It also opens up bigger conversations about divorce, family estrangement and what kids owe their parents once they’re grown. What do you think, should family business stay private or is it fair for a parent to speak out?
