Jeopardy!'s Teen Tournament Could Finally Return After Seven Years Away

The Jeopardy! Teen Tournament hasn’t aired since 2019, and fans have been asking about it ever since. Now executive producer Michael Davies says the show is“committed to bringing it back,”though no network or streaming deal is finalized. The tournament once anchored February sweeps with the show’s biggest ratings, and Alex Trebek called it his favorite part of the job,“kind of like my baby.”\n\nSo what’s the holdup? Davies says several platforms have expressed interest, but past deals have fallen through, and the show’s new multi-tournament postseason format pushed the Teen Tournament down the priority list. The current idea is a semiannual May event in syndication, alternating with a revived College Championship.
