Lawton’s favorite holiday tradition is officially on the calendar. The Holiday In The Park Parade returns on Saturday, November 21st at 6 p.m., and this year’s theme is“Christmas Through The Decades.”Organized by the Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the parade lineup will gather along C Avenue near Central Plaza before heading north on 2nd Street and rolling into the winter wonderland of Elmer Thomas Park.
The parade is just the beginning. Holiday In The Park will be open from November 21st all the way through December 31st, giving families plenty of time to enjoy the dazzling light displays, the ice skating rink, and the newest addition: bumper cars. That’s right, bumper cars are joining the festive lineup this year, offering a fun new twist for kids and kids at heart.
Local businesses, community groups, and organizations looking to be part of the parade can register online now.
